Shipping, returns & the small print

Shipping & duties

Every piece is made to order in our workshop and shipped directly to you. Production time is listed on each product page and ranges from 4 to 6 weeks. Transit is 8–12 business days via DHL or UPS Express with tracking.

• Flat rate $12 worldwide; free over $299.
• Duties and import taxes are prepaid for the United States, Canada and Australia — nothing is collected at your door.
• For other destinations we ship DDU: any local charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
• Tracking is emailed and also sent in your WhatsApp thread once the parcel leaves the bench.
• We are not able to ship to freight-forwarding addresses for personalised items, because a remake cannot be verified once the parcel has been reshipped.

If a parcel is returned to us because an address was entered incorrectly, we will re-ship once at cost. If it is lost in transit, we remake and reship at our cost.

Returns & remakes

Because each piece is made for one specific animal, personalised items cannot be returned for a change of mind. What we do promise is narrower and, we think, more useful:

• Sketch approval. Nothing is carved until you approve the drawing. If you cannot approve it, your deposit is refunded in full.
• Remake promise. If the finished piece does not match the sketch you approved — the wrong markings, the wrong name, a mistake in the carving — we remake it at our cost. Send a photo within 14 days of delivery.
• Damage in transit. Photograph the parcel and the piece and we will remake it, no return required.
• Non-personalised items (for example a collar with no engraving) can be returned unused within 30 days for a refund, minus the original shipping cost.

To start any of these, message us on WhatsApp with your order name and a photo. We answer within one business day.

Privacy

This is a static website. It does not set advertising cookies, and it does not run an analytics script by default. Anything you type into a form on this site is composed into a WhatsApp message on your own device — it is not stored on a server of ours.

When you contact us, we hold:

• Your name, email, shipping address and phone number, for the purpose of making and shipping your order.
• The photographs you send, used only to carve your piece.
• Order correspondence, kept for accounting and warranty purposes.

Your photographs are never used for marketing without written permission. For memorial pieces we do not ask. You can request deletion of your photos and personal data at any time after your order is complete by writing to w1608604945@gmail.com.

We share the minimum necessary with our shipping carrier (name, address, phone) and our payment processor (name, email, order total). We do not sell data to anyone.

Terms of sale

By placing an order you confirm that the photographs you supply are your own, or that you have the right to use them. We will decline any commission that asks us to copy another maker’s design or to portray an animal that is not yours.

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any local charges outside the US, Canada and Australia. Production windows are estimates made in good faith; handwork occasionally takes longer, and we will tell you as soon as we know.

Colour and grain vary between pieces. Leather darkens with use, wood grain differs between blanks, and silver tarnishes. These are properties of the materials, not defects.

Rush production is available for an added 25% where the bench allows — ask before ordering rather than after.
